Welcome
Welcome to the Heyford & Caversfield Area Children's Centre website
We are committed to providing a warm, safe and welcoming environment where all children and families are happy to come. The children who come to the centre will feel valued and listened to in an inclusive environment.
We provide a wide range of activities, information and support for parents, carers and children 0–5 years in the rural areas north of Bicester including Ardley, Bainton, Bucknell, Caversfield, Finmere, Fringford, Fritwell, Hardwick, Hethe, Somerton, Souldern, Stoke Lyne, Stratton Audley, Lower and Upper Heyford. For example:
- Stay and play sessions
- Playbus (village locations)
- Parenting Education Courses
- Adult education
For you and your baby:
- Self-weighing scales
- Baby massage
- Baby moves (movement and sensory development)
- Breastfeeding support
Please see our programme for details of current activities and events and where these are taking place in your local area.
We offer Outreach support on a one-to-one basis with families and adults caring for children who are aged 0-5 years, working to help resolve issues that may be affecting their quality of life and support them in improving and strengthening their family.
We recognise that there may be occasions when families would benefit from one to one support at home. Our workers can visit at home to provide a low key, friendly introduction to our services and accompanied visits to drop-ins and groups. The aim is to encourage and support parents to use the services on offer. We may be able to offer more intensive support if that is appropriate.
Take a look around the site and find out more information about the activities, courses, services and information we offer.
