The Early Learning and Childcare Recruitment Service offers information and advice to anyone working with children or interested in finding out more about careers in this sector. The Childcare Recruitment Service website has the latest job vacancies available in Oxfordshire.
The service advertises job vacancies across Oxfordshire in a variety of settings including crèches, pre-school playgroups, nurseries, out of school clubs and children's centres as well as for other organisations involved in working with children, young people and families. If you have a job vacancy then complete our online form to be included in our list of job vacancies.
Training, qualifications and courses
You do not need any qualifications to start working with children. If you have the right skills and qualities and are willing to train towards a qualification you can make a real difference to children’s lives, their families and the community.
If you’re patient, enthusiastic, take responsibility seriously and have a sense of fun you may have all you need to start your career in childcare. Some jobs can be started from scratch, but most require a qualification. You can train on the job, at college or combination of the two.
Please note: for all jobs working with children you will have to undergo a police Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
